From the engine room to the workshop floor.

Marine beginnings

The team's roots are in marine refrigeration — keeping plants running aboard naval and commercial vessels, where failure is not an option and the workshop is the sea.

Shipyard & industry

That discipline grew into shipyard and industrial plant maintenance — compressed-air stations, dehumidifiers, grit-recovery units, cold storage — run day after day, year after year.

Independent, and building

Today GMRL is an independent, focused company that designs and builds its own equipment in-house — from custom chillers to titanium heat exchangers.

Leadership

Naval-trained discipline.

GMRL is led by naval-trained engineering leadership — eighteen years in the Bahrain navy keeping warship cooling, refrigeration and air-conditioning running at sea, where failure is not an option. That discipline shapes how every GMRL plant is engineered, installed and maintained.

Behind it stands more than three decades of formal training: refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering school, factory certification by Carrier in packaged, split-unit and reciprocating-chiller service, and U.S. Navy engineering schools at Norfolk, Virginia and Great Lakes, Illinois — completed as a Distinguished Military Graduate of the Engineering Mechanical Core Course. The same standard is trained into every GMRL technician.
